In issue 07 of The New Era Magazine, we visit a modernist house by architect Sven Markelius and a 19th-century farm on the Swedish west coast. We travel to Milan to visit the home of architect Francesco Zorzi of NM3, and step inside the home and atelier of Older Studio, makers of bespoke uniforms for forward-thinking brands. We also explore interiors by three leading interior design studios based in Scandinavia and spend time with Finnish designer Ilkka Suppanen in his Milan apartment.

“Milan gives you a sense of being part of something larger. It’s a place where design is taken seriously – it is never banalised here,” he says of his adopted hometown.
