The pre-opening days of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia will take place from May 7–9. During these preview days, the exhibition areas at the Giardini and Arsenale will be open from 10 am to 7 pm. A rich program of opening events is also scheduled at the Finnish and Nordic pavilions.
The exhibition The Pavilion – Architecture of Stewardship, presented at the Pavilion of Finland, will celebrate its opening on Thursday, May 8 at 3:30 pm in the Giardini della Biennale pavilion park in Venice. Ahead of the exhibition opening, a book launch event will be held at the same location at 10:30 am, where the book Architecture of Stewardship will be presented.
The opening of the Industry Muscle exhibition at the Nordic Pavilion will take place on Thursday, May 8 at 2:30 pm. A related performance will be shown on May 9–10 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
On the official opening day of the Biennale, Saturday, May 10, a discussion about the restoration of the Pavilion of Finland will take place on the pavilion’s patio.
