Pre-opening at the Finnish Pavillion in Venice!

The pre-opening and book launch at the Finnish Pavillion is in full action.

Published in the conjunction with the Pavillion of Finland’s exhibiton, Architecture of Stewardship delves into the Pavillion’s history and illustrates that buildnings are not static objects but dynamic processes influenced by human actions, global politics and non-human forces.

The minimalistic graphic identity of the exhibition and the visual design of the publication were created by graphic designer Samuli Saarinen. “The exhibition curators had studied old Venetian publications, and their wish was to bring their atmosphere into the book. I wanted to take the historical references seriously”, he explains.
