In the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden, a bold experiment in urban design has been unfolding over the past decade. Jubileumsparken is more than just a park—it is a living laboratory where architecture, public participation, ecosystems and sustainability are in continuous dialogue

Initiated as part of the city’s 400th anniversary celebrations, the park has developed in phases, shaped by architects, artists, city officials, volunteers, and thousands of visitors.

The upcoming book offers a richly illustrated and carefully narrated journey through the evolution of Jubileumsparken—from its earliest temporary installations to the creation of its permanent structures. It tells the story of the transformation of a post-industrial landscape into a biodiverse oasis in the heart of the city.
