Catwalk – Swedish Fashion Illustration (Limited Edition)

The fashion drawings of this book march through more than five decades as on a catwalk, where the better part of the names in Swedish fashion drawing are presented. This is not a total inventory of what has been done during those years, but a selection to show both masters and musts. Of course, many of the artists are women, skilled craftspeople, many of them working obscurely in a genre where the performer seldom gets proper attention, but a handful of men can be found among them. Their work is accompanied by a couple of texts, reflecting the past and present of fashion illustration and the conditions of the fashion illustrator.
