Nordic Graphic Designers

Can the visual identity of a country be seen in the graphic design it produces? Nordic Graphic Designers asks the question and gives a polyphonous answer. Although the collection of designers presented in the book displays some general features, the flood of graphic products today have made individuality in style and concept indispensable. This is the fascinating paradox of globalism. In interviews with the participating designers, similarities and diversities become clear. Works of established titans such as Kari Piippo stand side by side with pioneering stars Bleed and Acne, which might hint at a change of generations.
